Biography:

 

Laura Lipton is 25 and based in her hometown of Birmingham and has a base and regular work in Manchester and London.

     Laura Has been in a short film funded by Birmingham City Council with Blue Orange Arts Ltd. Raising awareness for AA support groups, and alcohol addiction,

Laura has been expanding her skills and has worked  as a Live  TV Presenter for Equal World TV,  Available to view on Sky channel 662.  The Company is a non for profit organisation with Richard Branson as a Patron of their charity The Colourful Life Foundation, Which along with Virgin Unite and Ace Africa are helping fund education projects in the U.K and abroad, particularly looking at South Africa.

Laura's experience since graduating varys from:

International T.I.E  Theatre Tours. 

A Feature Film based in Manchester,

Performing various productions of new writing at The Blue Orange Theatre in Birmingham.

Pantomime from Jack and The Beanstalk to The Wind In The Willows,

Presenting an international educational documentary about Career Choices after University, with Talents&Careers Ltd with Birmingham University.

Working on a short film and AA awareness video for Birmingham City Council.

Building a Modelling Portfolio.

2014

 

Laura has joined the Blue Beetle Ltd team based in Birmingham which works with corporate Roleplay.

2013 

 

After graduating Plymouth Laura recieved a place at UCLAN based in Preston and graduated in 2013 with a BA (HONS) Acting Degree. Laura played Dawn in her third year production of Jerusalem.  During her time at UCLAN Laura worked on her script writing and developed a Short Film called 'Fingerprints' about addiction in the thought process of Freud's theory of 'The Human Psyche.'

Laura also started Presenting at UCLAN and was one of the Presenters for their charity event Genesis Breast Cancer Benefit with Dig Deep Productions which was broadcast Live.

2010- 2012

 

In 2011 Laura Trained with Plymouth University and recieved a FDA Acting Degree.

         During her time at Plymouth she formed a small touring theatre company called 'Fade To Black Productions' Where she also assumed the role of Stage Manager and  one of the Tour Managers, Along with being The Stage Manager Laura also wrote the press releases for the companies productions for radio and local newspapers.

 

         The company toured the South-West and put various productions on from Blithe Spirit to devised educational pieces such as 'Please Mind The Gap' about the London Underground, and comedy pieces such as madhouse. The Touring production of  'Two Lips Indifferent Red' about the dangers of cosmetic surgery in society today was very successful as the company toured the South West.

 

    Laura also studied Stage Management modules at the University and became a DSM with another small touring theatre company called 'Tenth Opinion' Which did performances from 'Bums On Seats' by Micheal Snelgrove, to 'Our Countries Good.' by Timberlake Wertenbaker.
